Who's your daddy?

"Train up a child in the way he should and when he is grown up he'll not depart from it. - Prov 22:6
"It's easier for a father to have children than for children to have a real father.- Pope John XXIII
Yesterday  marked one year since my Dad passed on to join the heavenly hosts, I sat down and  pondered what I had learnt from him and I found myriads of snippets and nuggets of wisdom I never thought much of but now value highly.

Dad was a visionary, he pre-planned and documented everything, as I rummaged through his personals, I found prayer points which were dated many years before focused on us the children.

The Bible records how children were named according to an anticipated goal, and when they were about to die (fathers) would bless their children with that vision in mind.
"Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of  them. - Prov 127:4,5
A Dad  propels "like an arrow" his children into places he has never been, politically, socially, financially etc. He is also described a warrior one who ferociously protects his family/children.

My dad protected us, loved us, rebuked us. I long to emulate him. Love you forever Dad
