Muzyamba K Mudenda - My Dad

I lost my dad on Friday 07/12 at 08:45. The devastation and the pain i felt was unmeasurable. He died aged 62 not old by many standards, he succumbed to liver failure.

My Dad was a devout christian an overseer of a group of churches under the Umbrella of Christlike Ministries. He was a firm believer in divine healing and great proponent of long life as a reward for faithfulness to his God whom he loved dearly.

I certainly don't have the answers though i ponder and endeavour to make sense of my Dads death. This thing i do know

Jehovah -You are the most high God and your word endures forever .
My Dad succumbed to sickness though he believed in divine healing and also prayed for the sick to be healed. I don't know why, but this i know

Jehovah Rapha - You are the God that healeth me and your love endures forever.
My dad died at only 62, the scriptures tell me with long life i will satisfy you. I don't why, but this i know
El Shaddai - The God who is more than enough and your faithfulness endures forever

I am reminded that precious in his (God) sight is the death of his saints. My Dad now is sitting in the bosom of the father. Why, why, why, why, but this i know

Jehovah Rohi - The Lord my Shepherd and he reigns from everlasting to everlasting.
I conclude knowing this

The Lord is Good and his mercy endure forever
I am filled with peace, the kind that the world does not give. My dad is sitting in glory with his lord and my Lord

Jehovah Shalom - The Lord our Peace
Muzyamba Kapela Mudenda, my Dad you will always be my champion, you prayed for us and with us, you admonished, rebuked and guided us, you trained us and pointed us in the right direction. A true champion sacrifices his own so that many can benefit

YOU ARE THAT CHAMPION

love you forever

Work your socks off !!!

"It's all hard work its been a long journey, grafting and grating" - Mo Farah (Olympic Champion)

..and his grace to me was not without effect . No I worked harder than all of them (apostles) - yet not I but the grace of God that was with me -1Corinthians 15:10

Every man is designed with purpose, dreams fill our minds on want we long to be, but it is said that the wealthiest place in the world is the graveyard there unfulfilled dreams lie, untapped potential buried, unmeasurable wealth rests. The difference maker is determination and hardwork, you have to work harder than your peers to excel in your field.

Will Smith is quoted saying " the only thing that is distinctly different about me is that i am willing to die on a treadmill, you might be smarter than me, more talented than me but if we get on a treadmill together two things will happen, you are getting off first or i am gonna die"

Your work ethic should be dominated by your mind, your mind should carry your body. Paul the apostle states " But I keep under my body and bring it into subjection"- 1Corinthians 9:27. The picture in your mind should dominate your life, be obsessive about it, pursue it to the nth degree. The pain, the fatigue, will all pay off.

Muhammad Ali was asked how many sit ups he did, he replied that he did not know and only started counting when it started hurting.

..fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross .... Hebrews 11:2

Graft, grafting, hardwork, go for it, work your socks off.
BE THE CHAMPION

The Greatest fight of my life

“This is the legend of Cassius Clay,
The most beautiful fighter in the world today.
He talks a great deal, and brags indeed-y,
of a muscular punch that's incredibly speed-y.
The fistic world was dull and weary,
But with a champ like Liston, things had to be dreary.
Then someone with color and someone with dash,
Brought fight fans are runnin' with Cash.
This brash young boxer is something to see
And the heavyweight championship is his des-tin-y.
This kid fights great; he’s got speed and endurance,
But if you sign to fight him, increase your insurance.
This kid's got a left; this kid's got a right,
If he hit you once, you're asleep for the night.
And as you lie on the floor while the ref counts ten,
You’ll pray that you won’t have to fight me again.
For I am the man this poem’s about,
The next champ of the world, there isn’t a doubt.
This I predict and I know the score,
I’ll be champ of the world in ’64.
When I say three, they’ll go in the third,
10 months ago

So don’t bet against me, I’m a man of my word.
He is the greatest! Yes!
I am the man this poem’s about,
I’ll be champ of the world, there isn’t a doubt.
Here I predict Mr. Liston’s dismemberment,
I’ll hit him so hard; he’ll wonder where October and November went.
When I say two, there’s never a third,
Standin against me is completely absurd.
When Cassius says a mouse can outrun a horse,
Don’t ask how; put your money where your mouse is!
I AM THE GREATEST!”
Muhammad Ali

Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ - 2 Corinthians 10:5.

The greatest battlefields lie in our minds, thoughts dominate our minds and determine the outcome of our actions. What we think is crucial as it determines, how we behave, how we talk, how we react, the confidence we display and the battles we win.

As a man thinks in his heart so is he - Prov 23:7

The mind can be trained and guided, Philippians 4:8 tells us to think on certain things,  conscious decision to think positively.  All defeatist thoughts have to be eradicated  and  replaced with thoughts that are positive, as the saying goes " You can't keep the birds from flying over your head, but you can sure keep them from building a nest." Negative thoughts will always occur, but they should never be allowed to dominate the mind.
More than anything you guard, protect your mind for life flows from it - Prov 4;23 (CEB)
Think like a champion, visualise your victory, see your success, build up and guard your mind. Watch the right things, read the right books, surround yourself with people who you admire (fellow champions)

He that walketh with the wise shall be wise, but a companion of fools shall be destroyed - Prov 13:20

Muhammad Ali often made predictions of his victories, he had visualised his victory, his mind had seen his victory and his body followed. Everything is a product of our mind
......so that what is seen was not made of out what is visible - Hebrews 11:3 (NIV)

Do whatever it takes to dominate your mind.
BE A CHAMPION

Victor Mulenga Chanda

Its been a year since you departed, but the wound doesn't seem to heal. I often ponder the value of life. Honestly, life's value seems to be diminished after considering all that studying (pounding) we did, the pain we endured, the friends we lost, the hopes and dreams we aspired to achieve, only for life to be extinguished at such a tender vibrant age.

Nothing has been unfruitful because your legacy will leave through your offspring, peers, acquaintances and family as a great friend, a fantastic Dad, a great preacher an all around warm individual. You will be remembered as a father, a husband, a brother, a servant of the Almighty. They will carry the torch and declare your life influennced many.

I will never know what you went through knowing that your illness was terminal and pray i will never, but you soldiered on, i spoke to you frequently and found strength and encouragement not even realising that you had bigger battles than mine. I loveyou bro and long to see you again
